Our Team

Jody Vanden Branden (now Hanson) grew up in Telluride, Colorado, with a passion for freestyle skiing and horseback riding. She joined the US Developmental Ski Team and earned an associate’s degree from Colorado Mountain College. After an injury, she moved to California in 2000, earning a Bachelor’s in motion picture and TV production from Brooks Institute of Photography.

Jody returned to Colorado to pursue photography and live broadcasting before relocating to California in 2007, where she met her husband and lived in Discovery Bay for 13 years. Her family grew with the arrivals of her children, Van in 2018 and Sloan in 2019. In 2024, they moved to southwest Florida.

In 2010, Jody launched JVB Photography, managing family portraits, weddings, and freelance projects for car dealerships. She expanded her expertise by studying graphic design, creating ads and logos for local businesses and organizations. By 2015, she shifted her focus to real estate photography, earning an FAA Remote Pilot Certification for aerial shots. In Florida, she established Dragonfly Drones, specializing in pre-storm documentation with aerial photography.

Jody’s love for photography, family, and life is reflected in her work.
